Just bought an Earthquaker White Light.

Hurry Jamie!

I bought it to use with my Diabolical at lower volume levels when playing during the week. Very exciting!

Who else here has one? What are your experiences with it?

I saw this picture of Hendrix, all he used was a wah.... And not even the Jim Dunlop Jimi Hedrix wah, just some old thing.....
Jimi didn't realise the horrible tone suck we had to listen to every time he used that wah.

You gotta tell me what you think when it gets there.
I've been eyeing one up for quite a while.
It's one of the only EQD things I haven't owned.

I will do that. I've been looking for an OD for a while and in the back of my mind I kept thinking about the 250 I used to have a long time ago. I hope this baby can achieve that because I know from the clips it can do more. I think the added compression switch is a cool idea to play around with too.

I've had one for a while now, and it got me hooked on EQD. It's a pretty versatile OD. I haven't played a 250 or Distortion+ so I can't compare them, but I'm sure the White LIght will stack up. The weight knob is really useful for since I only have one guitar with single coils; cranking the weight knob really does give a heavier, bassier OD sound. Conversely, you can get a thin sound by turning it all the way off. I'd say it is mostly a bright OD, but you can use the weight knob to give it girth. I tend to leave the switch one the less compressed setting, but it is handy to be able to get a compressed OD sound. Also, it takes being boosted quite well.

So yeah, just go start waiting by your mailbox right now.

I think the FAIL was because their sale price is more than their regular price. :hello:

Definitely an awesome sounding OD. I don't think anything will kick off my Monarch though :)

It was between the Monarch and this one. Since I am already using it with an amp with baxandall tone stack and vintage picture-esque tones I figured I'd go with the White Light. That Monarch was tough to walk away from for sure.

Have you made any clips of your Monarch? I'd love to check them out.

leave dipping shit to the two girls

i think the Tone Factor is misleading in a very strange way... their price is 145, but what's the price for a used one? 131 as the used un is on sale (what the fuck is the preposition? english is my second language) or 120 as the used is... what? :idk:

anyway: i heard the demos and it sounds great, so congrats!

Just grabbed it, thanks for the heads up. It was $120, did anyone bother to add it to their cart to see what the actual price was? I suppose it's just easier to mock the retailer for a typo. :thumb:
