now i see the "cool-kids" posting BORIS' songs all over facebook... especially Rainbow...
good exposure and kudo to BORIS...
but man, i am confused.

I LIKED THEM FIRST!!!!!!

just wondering, is it actually a japanese film? if so, do you rmember what it's called? the only recent movie i know featuring boris is the latest jarmusch flick. would be interested if there's a japanese one too...

but yeah, boris :thumb:

There is also Their own art film they Did....

i haven't got time to go see it yet but i would love to.
nothing bad about the movie really, i would imagine the director is a cool guy to choose BORIS over others :thumb:

but yeah, BORIS in cinemas everywhere man :omg:

oh, weird i haven't heard of it since i'm a huge movie nerd... especially when it comes to japanese movies. it's got hirofumi arai in it but i didnt see him in the trailer so i doubt he has a large role. the director is hit or miss but i'll probably end up watching it

but yea derailed thread sry
out on my skateboard the night is just humming
and the gumsmacks are the pulse i'll follow if my walkman fades

Man that would be a room to see them in too! I miss SF  I saw the portland show right before that, they were AWSOME the room was crap, no ventilation in august and it was small, which was both good and bad.

not familiar with Autolux, Fuck Buttons nor Boredoms...
but oh yea, Melt Banana, been listening to them for years.
Keiji Haino would really be something to see once in a life time.
no doubts about Godspeed, Dirty Three & Envy.

well, don't be sad.
BORIS doesn't even play around Asia much, so I still haven't got a chance to see them (besides going to Japan)

That show RULED. About halfway through Floorshaker I reached to put in my earplugs and realized they'd been in the whole time. I took a ton of pics, but this one was probably my favorite.

That is one hell of a lineup, I'd love to go. Boredoms are absolutely killer live, one of my favourite bands.

I'm not super into Boredoms studio work but I have the feeling that seeing them live would be amazing.

Also I'd like to know what gear Boris was using when they were just starting out. Or some early live pics.
