yeah dude, love those guys! they've got some mega killer gear
2) I apologise in advance for getting all fanboy like this, but I f**king love Thrushes! "Night Falls" is in my top 5 records of this year. Sorry, just had to get that out...
thanks dude, really appreciate it!! night falls was really fun to record and produce. lots of cool and interesting sounds on it that i was able to sneak past the girls we've been really excited by our new material, but unfortunately we're taking a forced hiatus to deal with some issues, hopefully nothing too permanent. anybody else local on the board?
You got a sick board there, Thrushes! Could use a different echo, IMO, but considering it sounds like you have a real RE-201, I think you got it covered. Man I really gotta check out your stuff since there's another Baltimorean around this place.
Do you like listening to homemade music? Me too. Why don't you try one of mine?
Current ILF Love: OHNOHO CHK CHK BOOM, Mellowtone Melx Fuzz 2, EQD Dream Crusher, Devi Ever ID, Dr. Scientist Proto-Miniberator - new vids eventually

I thought you didn't need any more fuzz, or is the virus infecting you for reals now?

i decided to get happy... nuff said
naah... i just decided that because i like the sound, i can't go wrong with buying something new... and that i'll absolutely use it even though i might think i won't (it happened before, don't worry)
so i decided to give myself a present and try to find The Great Destroyer

thanks! i've got tons of different echos, dr scientist, malekko, earthquaker, e-h, etc. and i gotta say i just LOVE the danecho. LOVE IT LOVE IT! go figure?!? i've been thru about 5 or 6 of them in the last few years because the jacks suck, but i think they just sound really great and are like $30-$40 in good used condition. i play with 2 live on most of the time, one on short slapback and one on long decays. great stuff man! perfect balance of dirty darkness and digital crispness and yes i've got 2-201's. used to play live with them, but really a pain in the ass to lug around and so unpredictable sounding depending on the club condtions.

hehe, the danecho was my first delay ever... but i have to sa - after a few years i tried it again and wasn't very happy with it anymore
i think that danelectro did their best with the Reel Echo that broke on me, sadly
