It's cool because if this was some normal music forum there would be dudes saying things like: "You know, you don't really need fuzz, that's just a crutch." and being all about it.
Instead I see quotes that say things like FUCK BABIES and it makes me go

Come for the fuzz... stay for the beer.
Nothing, I repeat NOTHING is better than a pile of fuzz pedals while really drunk with other loud musicians. At 2am. On a weeknight.
I remember the night I first got my Noise Box, and my band at the time came over for beers. They made me put that one on my board immediately, and we later wrote a song around it. It was one of those joke/noise/insane songs that usually only lasts once or twice, then is no longer funny. We played it EVERY PRACTICE for about a year. I need to dig up the recordings of it, make some All Love / All Fuzz mp3 list or someshit. That band is responsible for my only blown speaker in 18+ years of playing.

You sir, need to get your act together. I've heard this 'soon' refrain from you one too many times already. Just bite the bullet and get yourself some fuzz my friend. You're life will be much more meaningful once you do.

um... why is my band so lame when it comes to those thing? they don't care about effects, even though me and my pedalboard was probably a biggest change for the band's sound ever (i joined them after few months of playing), the bass player doesn't even think about thinking about trying any damn effect, the lead guitarist who is a big Fripp fan is all like but at least he has a fuzz face and a delay... on the other hand he blasts it through 15w solid state amp with 8" speaker
and now you try to come up with crazy usage of fuzz within those four walls that are our rehearsal room
all bands are different.. The two I play with like my use of fuzz to add mood and texture to the overall sound, that's is why I always have about three on my board, I can bring in and out a sound for this part or that of a song. And for the most part I'm not talking extreme, I know better then that and I spend lot of time and have gone though lots of pedals so that my volume doesn't change much inless I start stacking and my lows never drop.

i play in a band that could be described as experimental, alternative and progressive rock with funk influences... how is that not calling for heavy effects usage from everyone in the band?
at least i get to oscillate the fuzz factory and disaster transport every once in a while... and now i want a Dwarcraft Devices Great Destroyer... out of the blue... i just probably love everything that oscillates
edit: a guy near to me builds clones of Tiny Destros... i'm not in a great financial situation, so i'll probably try this
