anyone want to build me a small looper w/ blend pot?
These seem way too hard to find considering how simple and useful they are. I just need to get my clean/fuzz blend on so I can stop hauling two big ass bass heads around- any of you DIY wizards want to help me out?

Are you looking for a feedback looper to put your fuzz into, or a clean blend?

I love the smell of solder in the morning.

just a clean blend, like one of these-

but not necessarily so fancy...although a simple phase switch would be handy in case things get all wobbly. think that's doable?
also, I just picked up an old brat/roadkill that I believe you rehoused and modded (?) and it looks/sounds great. awesome job!

Like, one true bypass loop, and a clean blend control? That's very doable.

welp, if anyone feels like taking the time, I'd love to pay someone to build me one. failing that I'd probably end up getting a boss line selector, and I'm not much of a buffer snob, but I'd rather have a smaller footprint and one blend knob instead of two separate volumes. Plus, I don't even really need a footswitch, as I'm going to have the thing on all the time. If you want to pm me a quote or something we can figure out details from there

Dan at This1myne builds one.
he's a super great dude who hangs out on TGP
i've had a couple custom complicated jobs and he always comes through with flying colors
ive got two of his blenders
http://www.this1smyne.com/product_list/ ... der-pedal/
and like it says, 10$ discount if you don't want the expression
and if you don't want the stomp or the led it'll obviously cost you even less
just email him to let him know exactly what you want, it's impressive how good his service is.

Re: anyone want to build me a small looper w/ blend pot?
alright, well I might as well ask for a public opinion here. as a bit of a brian cook fanboy, I play bass with a lot of dirt. I currently run a sparkledrive on all the time and occasionally use a 3 knob EQD hoof and a rehoused rat type thing I snagged on here. Now, I want to be able to use both the hoof and the rat with the clean blend and switch between them and the OD with a clean/dirty type of loop switcher. my initial idea was to get the loopswitcher, put all the pedals in it, and put all of that in the blend loop, which would just be left on all the time. this would open up the possibility for me to try out other ODs, that don't have clean blends themselves, but I'm starting to worry that having so many different pedals in a single blend loop will open the door for phase problems. such as, it could be fine with one pedal in the loop, but not with another. thoughts?
I sent Dan @ this1smine an email inquiring about a three loop switcher with blend knobs/ phase switches for each loop, but if there's a cheaper/faster way, I'm all ears.

My music teacher taught me about this the other day and, as far as i know as far as i know dirt pedals should be fine as they don't invert the sound wave. octave effects MIGHT cause a slight problem because some of them get their effect by flipping the negative side of the sound wave over which we hear as an extra note an octave above what we have played.
So i think it SHOULD be fine but don't quote me on it
and good luck on getting a nice blend pedal

Re: anyone want to build me a small looper w/ blend pot?
sweet, way to drop some science there. I occasionally ran into phase problems with my two head rig, but only when I ran a DL4 in loop mode into one head but not the other. I run an RC2/DL4 to the PA normally for samples/space/bullshit, but when there's not one available I use my 'treble' head, and now that I'm thinking about it, I definitely had to do that at least a dozen times over the last year and I only ever noticed phase problems at practice. this makes me wonder if it's just not that noticeable when the rest of a loud ass band is playing?
