I thought this thread disserved a bump! :joy:

So I found an old picture of a noise-setup I played with.. Tuner-out of the ps-2 is the sound source, ls-2 used to make paralel effect-lines gt-6b is on it's own, other pedals are the other effect-line..

max/msp patch.
interesting... it's an x/y axis (joystick) control which changes parameters (frequency?) of a few different modulation sources (a sinewave and i guess waveforms that you imported/drew?) which control different aspects (triggering, start/end points, looping, speed and buffer size) of 2 sample players - panned L/R. do i win a prize?

yes! you win..but its sonicbirth not max msp.

this is a free program but for mac only as far as i know.
