My thoughs exactly...
Ben strips nearly all the drive from the preamp section and allows the JCA20H’s voice to run wide open for 20 watts of maximum clean headroom, even with the preamp gain maxed. Dime the master volume and you get a classic and dynamically responsive power tube break-up.
That definitely sounds promising. If only I could figure out something to replace that JCA badge with...

Maybe we should just peel that shit off and do a nice circular branding to conceal eventual marks of where it stuck.
But seriously. I've been meaning to ask this when I first stumbled across this amp. From the description of things it should be great for my purposes. But has anyone played a Jet City before? They don't have a retailer over here, all I can find is an online store that sells them. So I can't try one of those. Are they built well? The price seems kinda low for what they promise and I feel there must be some disadvantage to the amp. So, any experience with these guys?
Also, look at what I found on the bay. Maybe someone else has the funds for this piece of beauty: Minimat Special 4x10
This looks really cool - I really dig what Jet City is doing. Unfortunately I haven't been able to play one, but I bet the Verellen mod and one of the Brown Eye amps would make an effing killer little a/b rig.
