I hate slap bass, no wait, I hate the pop that goes with it. It hurts my ears, and not in a good way. Also fuck Victor Wooten and all the fuckers that made slapping all about playing a bunch of almost unhearable shit really fast.

I kind of agree with this. Slap is okay with me generally, but when it gets excessive like that it's fucking annoying. I know it's taboo to say, but I don't like Wooten's playing...he is very talented but listening to him is grating and I can't relate at all to the crowd losing their minds over the DUMPOPOPOPBWOOOOOOPOPOPOPOBUMBUPOPOPOPDUMPOPOPOP DUNNNN DUNNN DUNN POPOPOPOPOPOPOPOPOPOPOP BWOON riff he just played.

Really, whenever you guys start threads on comics I just think Batman ect only interest so I stay out of them... I have tried to like US comics for a long time but they just don't resonate with me....
