Need some good psych bands
oi!
I've been listen to the psychedelic genre a lot more lately. I know I could easily go to last.fm for this, but, I trust ya'lls opinions more.
So.......Hit me. Can be new, can be old. Just has to be gnarly.

This actually predates Tommy, and is one of the GREATEST undiscovered records EVER. No that's not opinion, that's a fucking fact.

This is only the opening track, the real freakouts begin shortly.

I just bought this record today:

It's been a favorite of mine for quite some time, but I only recently found a copy of it locally.

Maybe that's more "acid rock" or whatever, but...whatever. I still classify it under "psychedelic rock".
I highly recommend The Stars. They're a Japanese band and you'll have to make a few attempts at Googling to find any albums by them. If you like them, maybe check out White Heaven, , which later became The Stars.

Re: Need some good psych bands
Can has always been the alpha and omega of psychedelia for me. Some people call them krautrock, but they're too important for that.
