Dang, people. First you get me running back to dig out all of my old shoegaze albums, now you've got me hooked on catologing my equipment. Oh, well... work sucked today anyways.

Here's my roster, left to right:
- 2002-ish US Fender Jazz - my main guitar of choice. Added a Badass bridge (ENTIRELY because of the name, of course :p ), and two different brands of "hot" jazz pickups... the makers of which completely escape me. But it's a thing of beauty.

- customized D'agostino Flying V bass - I got this off eBay for cheap because I wanted a full-scale V bass, which is hard to find. Well, after a whole lot of refurbishing work, I realized why - this thing is almost as tall as I am! The action is a bit sad, and the input jack is kaput at the moment, but this is fun to play live, at least for the "rock star" feeling. I'm considering replacing the musicman pickup with a Rickenbacker at some point.

- Carlo Robelli 8-string - the action is hellacious, but I just had to have an 8-string. So... uh.. now I do.

- Synsonics "electric Uke" - originally this was a travel bass, but I put piccolo full-length strings on it, and now it's tuned in guitar range A-D-G-C. Tons o' fun to play, unless you enjoy string bends. Then it's goodbye fingertips! But I get a lot out of it for writing purposes.

- Ovation Celebrity - my first-ever guitar! Sadly neglected now, but it's purty, so I keep it around for sentimentalification.

- not pictured: Rickenbacker 4001 - my former main bass, currently in the shop for a bajilliondy reasons.

It's OK to post basses too, right? RIGHT?!?!?!?

K, good. :D

It's a Korean Moser Spawn. Neck through, bone nut, nice frets, sounds great blah blah.

I added Dimarzio Split P/Model J pickups, a 5 way pickup switch, and P/P pots to it.

It's a ridiculously comfy shape, especially for a pointy.

Haha, everytime I see guitars or basses like those I always think "This guy better be fucking amazing." That bass is pretty classy in white with a black trim though. :thumb:

 You're my best friend now, K?

I don't even like metal. I just found it in a local store and played it.

For more normal shapes, an old project that turned out really well:

Nice! Reminds me of Spinal Tap's "pickups all the way up the body" guitar... in a good way!

It was the heaviest gibson ever made, plywood covered in fiberglass over a wooden core... sustains for days, the old dirty fingers pickups stomp like the footsteps of god.

The Laney is sorta close to a JCM800, with a little more gain. I love the amp distortion (though I boost it sometimes), just use pedals for over the top fuzztonez.
