Sorry about that, jrmy and I have been trying to meet up. I should be able to pass it on to him in the next day or so, and then it'll be on its way!

Yup! Sorry - can't believe that my schedule is so bad I can't drive the frigging five minutes to get it. But we will alleviate that issue this weekend!

Sorry for the ridiculous delay! I've just been swamped with work... though I was able to sneak some time in today to record a quick demo:

[soundcloud]http://soundcloud.com/thewyrrejimes/orbit-test[/soundcloud]

Signal chain is Jazz Bass > Orbit > M-Audio FastTrack Pro > computer.

I found in playing around with the Orbit that my favorite part of the pedal was messing with the frequency, mix and expression knobs on the fly, so I decided to actually "play live" for once, rather than doing separate takes for each setting on the pedal. It's a bit crazier than usual, but I think it suits this one. I added a repetitive beat to make it a wee bit more rhythmic.

I did the freq / mix / exp tweaking with my right hand since I don't have an expression pedal - not sure exactly which parameters you can change with an expression pedal, but this is one of the few pedals that I would actually consider playing sitting down, so I could reach the knobs when playing live!

The only post-production tweaking that I did was some compression and volume correction in GarageBand to ease the transition between some of the wilder settings.

The pedal goes out to Jahsoul FIRST THING tomorrow!
