Oh, hey, mod ideas (and something I'll try):

If you're a bass player, use a higher value volume control or increase the output capacitor. The reason is, the high pass filter at the output, when turned down, does cut off some of the lowest lows. When it's up, it'll handle lows as low as the ear can hear.

Realistically, the pots only need to be about 10K. The gain control is linked directly to your guitar, so if you have a passive guitar, you will wanna keep that higher (at least 100K). If you use a value above 100K, the treble bleed capacitor becomes pretty important.

I haven't worked out ideal values yet, but realistically, just use what you have. The only one that really makes a big difference is the tone control, which needs to be about 10K or else it won't have much effect.

Also try this circuit as an output booster for fuzz pedals. It's pretty great! When it's really pushed, it smooths out the fuzz kinda like a tube amp (FETs clip kinda like tubes, and MOSFETs are just a bit smoother).

:omg:

Saturate the shit out of that thing.

Updated the info to the final stuff. Sorry if you already bought parts! I tend to tweak things forever as I think of stuff... :idk:

I didn't change much, though. 90% is still the same.

Is it just me or is this thing really annoying to adapt to vero? :grumpy:

How's this? You'll have to turn the resistors on their side, like old Boss pedals, otherwise the board would end up hewj.

You'll have to add the switches and pots... it's the best I could do during a coffee break. >.<

If you can find a good one, you can also just use an Electra Distortion, SHO, etc layout. As long as it's a single transistor booster with negative feedback bias. Just change the values of the components. :idk:
