Anyone with experience doing claymation?!

My friend and I are going to do a short clay-mation video thing,and in the end the two characters blow up.How can I go about doing this? :poke:

Stick some small firecrackers in them and see what happens? It wouldn't be clay-mation though it'd just be filming clay blowing up.... :grumpy:

Thats exactly what I thought,I don't know.I'd like it to be all claymation but I don't think its possible to do that.Oh well.I'll post it here I finish it or start.What are some really small fire crackers?

i used to do stop motion... for explosions try using paper and fishing line... I know this sounds stupid, but if you rig it, you can move the pieces how you like actually, i have a link to the last stop motion vid me and my friend ever did... its pretty cool

i went back and watched that vid that i posted, its kinda funny, sorta like robot chicken amateur style, apparently me and my friend had some talent.
