Looking for a wah that has a huuuuge ass sweep range. I don't need that icepick treble on it (I actually kinda hate that), but it needs to have a deep bottom end and a wide range (not that narrow jumps-from-one-spot-to-another thing the crybaby does past 3/4 of the range). The Morley Dragon 2 looked promising, but it sounded more like a filter than a wah (which was still pretty cool but it seemed like it was only bass and treble and no mids which made it sound....not really sure how to describe it... "weepy")
I use a lot of fuzz and metal distortion from my Peavey so I want a wah that is good for soloing/rhythm work in chugga-chugga type applications and with really thick fuzz.
Eventhough I don't buy "Signature" gear, the Dunlop Zakk Wylde Signature Wah is awesome, honestly you should just buy a standard crybaby and have it revoiced to where the range is bigger and for true bypass!
Wahs are very easy to mod. Most of the different Crybaby models are the same board with a small number of component differences. The last one I modded I flattened the Q to give the sweep a wider implied range and smoother sweep.
Edit: I removed a massive typo created by my phone haha.

Yes! My buddy was telling me about this pedal. I'm not a huge fan of signature gear myself, but the clips did sound really good. I've actually been thinking about checking one out, since I'm not having any luck getting my hands on a Wizard Wah. I will also say that it is in my opinion, which means a lot , one of the coolest looking wahs out there right now.

Wizard Wahs are super gnarly. I've been eyeing one for a while. I'm just too scared of wah.
