Agreed. I got an '82 L-1000 for $700. Just save up a wee bit more, and you'll be golden.
There's a very nice looking L-2000 on vancouver craigslist for $600 right now, if I had the cash I'd be all over it. G&l's are the shit, I love my ASAT classic. I definately spent more than I should've for it, but I'd never bought a brand-new guitar before.
Plus, so so so worth it. That's a retarded cheap price too.
1998 Fender MIM Stratocaster it has been modified with a magick switch, when the switch is up the 5 way selector switch is stock, when it is down positions 1 and 5 are the Bridge and Neck pickups and positions 2, 3, and 4 are all three pickups The Bridge and Neck sound awesome in conjunction with a wah or a phaser

1981 Peavey T-15, Made in America Ibanez Gio I took it to be restrung and one of the tuners broke, and the guy made me pay for it, so now i have 3 chrome tuners and 1 black tuner Lakland Skyline Series Decade Bass, my bass teacher knows the the owner of Lakalnd and I got the bass for Half! Early 1900's Gibson Mandolin, belonged to my Grat Grandmother So i had it refurbished, and I've never felt more Irish
