i'm a massive delay fan :) and reverb... i stand here and say that delay is my essential effect. I could be happy without fuzz and distortion and phaser... not without delay

Reverb is superior.

but one day a friend and I were fiddling with his boss gigadelay, and apparently on REALLY low delay settings, it somehow changes pitch, and added an octave somewhere. and we figured out a ratio for which delay speed would harmonize with which key. that was really awesome. i'll prolly record some of that when i get around to running my AB through his plexi.

anyways, i dunno what my effect is besides fuzz and reverb.
i guess pitch shift. thats always fun to run through an expression pedal and bring in a 5th.
,':{I> ... your move, Trebek.

I'm a reverb guy myself. I've never really meshed with delay unless its a quirky reverse delay (SMMH style) or an ambient long-but-low-in-the-mix delay on clean stuff.

I only use delay on clean settings since my amp's dirty channel isn't very delay/reverb "compatible," also if you change tempo mid song you probably also have to change the delay time and unless yours is a delay with a tap tempo function, it's not happening, plus I think I'll leave delay up to David Gilmour.
