Malekko Omicron Phaser: How Do You Say?

Does anyone own or operate a Malekko Omicron Phaser? It's PINK!

I just got a Small Stone Nano... and, uh... it's too big for my PT-Jr... or at least too big for the other pedals I need on there.

Any input on it from you or yer mom?

I've got the trem and 616. I LOVE them. I'd imagine the phaserrocks if that's what your into. I'm just not a big phaser fan.

But I do plan on snagging a chorus or vibe if I see one for a good deal.

I read that the SS Nano fixes whatever volume drop problem that has plagued other Small Stones for centuries, but, uh... not by that much. Plus, f'real, I need just like THAT much more space. Ridiculous.

I actually just bought one about a week ago and I love it. No volume drop, great sound, super tiny... and it's sparkly pink!

Fuuuck it's SPARKLY pink? I didn't know that! You can't tell in the demos or pictures.

Looks like it's probably got everything I need... super-small footprint, no volume drop, hot and simple phase sound, and sparkles.

That's too bad. I actually quite like the sound of it with the color switch down... rarely use it on up. I know you have one of those big green ones from your pedalboard pics. Sounds much better than any MXR that I've heard, anyway. Those things are too scratchy.

Anyway... fuck, guess I'll have to grab ye olde Malekko Phase.

No doubt it still sounds good, but just not quite the same (what is these days?). Yea, I have a green one and used to have a black sovtek one as well (now seen on Rygots board). They both sounded so good but had totally different sweeps. I obviously preferred the green, despite its size being problematic more than once. I used to have an mxr p90 but didn't really care for it myself. It sounded pretty good when I would use it...but then I would use the small stone and turn to the p90 in disgust

I really dig the omicron series. I've got their vibrato and dig it it and have no complaints, but are you don't just want it because it's tiny, and sparkly pink, and OMG IT'S SO CUTE!!1

You know how you can kinda compare the Whetstone to the Small Stone, and the Grand Orbiter to, uh, what the Ross and DOD 490?

What about the Malekko phaser? Do you guys know if it's based on anything? Or if you own one, if it sounds "like" another phaser?
