That is true; we had lots of good, wholesome, war-laden toys. I had two sisters, so I was routinely in trouble for having GI Joe conduct special ops missions into the Barbie mansion to take Skipper as a hostage.

Haha, yeah, the dual ask! Impossible to say no to your own child plus some other child!

don't forget thundercats, M.A.S.K. and Thundarr the barbarian......and oh, just bought my first Dr. Scientist....pirate sunny day delay...can't wait for it to arrive!!!

M.A.S.K. was so cool.. I loved those toys a lot! Really cool you got an old style pirate finish, those are pretty rare. I think Tanya's probably done less than 6 of those, really time consuming since there's so many layers and pieces. Hope you dig it!

M.A.S.K. definately was cool. I've still got a couple of M.A.S.K. toys in a box in my parents' basement. As I recall, some sort of van that hides a jet or something and an ATV. I've also still got a ton of original Transformers and Ninja Turtles there too. Oh and some Ghostbusters stuff. I think I might need to go to my folks' house for some playtime soon...

Don't forget, you gotta jump up and down when you're asking, so it looks like you're really excited about the possibility. I'll feign throwing a tantrum; mom won't know what hit her.

Never had that many M.A.S.K. toys, but I dug those a lot. I think it was probably because there were so many GI Joe figures (when they only cost $1) that mom could spend a dollar and have me shut up for a week instead of the M.A.S.K. vehicles.

Nothing tops GI Joes for me.. I loved Transformers and Star Wars toys too but GI Joe was just such a great experience. I loved building the vehicles and bases and I loved how the guys came with multiple weapons... geeez those were great toys!
