I don't know much about reso's, but that second vid actually sounds pretty good...I noticed you said you weren't really looking for a Fender...so I guess I'm not much help..as that's the only reso I've actually played..thought it was pretty nice, actually, for the price.

Also, those Eastwoods are pretty cool-looking...never played one (Eastwoods in general are in my book)

The reason I said I didn't really like the Fender reso was because I played a few of them and they were all very quiet and sounded more like a regular acoustic than a resonator.
