It's gone now, and nothing much to see anyhow. I used both boards (power and effect) so as to retain the input buffer stage when turned on (so it gets along with other pedals and isn't picky about where it is in the chain). I had to remove and jumper a lot of shit to do it. The boards hide all the wiring, which is still very neat and clean, of course!

The Fab series is totally different inside, using a lot of SMD. You can build a PT2399 delay for less hassle. That's what the Fab Echo uses.

The big metal one? I've never seen the inside of that series. If you make a thread about it with details and pictures, maybe we can tackle it together.

I am up in the air about the rehouse. It looks like it's too big for a 1590bb and I don't want to make a massive crappy delay. the only reason I took it apart is because the dc jack is intermittent I am probably going to just replace the jack and maybe paint it and do an led swap. I have bigger projects I am working on.... http://www.holtek.com/english/docum/consumer/8950.htm

My latest build that I'm most proud of. It's not perfect, but it's sexy to me

lets see the guts! I did a sho in a 1590a once. I think I spent about 12 hours working on it, I went totally insane and felt like I was in a kafka novel.

I swore up and down that I would never build another one or let it go, but I lent it to a friend and he ended up keeping it as a birthday present. I'm sure I could do a better job now, but I don't even want to try. I have 1 empty 1590a teasing me but I will probably just make a channel switcher or something.

this was before I got into heat shrink which probably would have saved me alot of grief. the led is maybe 1 mm away from shorting out to the jacks and the power socket is really close to the transistor. I guess the good thing is you never have to open them up to replace a battery.

starts out with acoustic, then goes to electric. I just used some loops so I could be hands on with the pedal.
