the tape jumped out twice i took off the plastic to watch the tape then it jumped out of the metal plate off the side and i was like GAHHHHH TURN OFF TURN OFF before it got tangled then it jumped off the heads how i dont know all i know is that it stopped delaying and i was like ummmmmmmmmmm??
First, don't take off the plastic shield, it is there for a reason.
Have you cleaned you heads? Also could be the tension springs, if those are too tight or lose that kind'a shit can happen. Also you will want to get your self a tape head demagnetizer if you plan to use it al lot.
