Dark Boost into MXR bass blowtorch Mxr calls it overdrive but it sounds fuzzy at extreme settings. I usually have it set milder but I am fuzzless so it will have to do the job for now.

My favorite basic tremolo is the Dano Tuna Melt. It's optical and has square and sine wave tremolo. I can't find another like it, so I might trace it and build my own.

The tuna melt can be set to sound very similar to the tube trem in my old silvertone. I have a video somewhere... Have been wanting the cygnet, so building one could be fun.
By the way, I think I found what the Tuna Melt is based on. I still need to do some comparing, but I think it's another design stolen from a boutique pedal. Most of the "food" series are blatant clones.
