AB-Synth eq?

Hi guys

so i was looking for a new fuzz recently and i stumbled across the AB-Synth. Since i was looking for something crazy and synth-y, i was quite amazed but then i watched some demos...
i can't help myself but what i heard just made me imagine the awesome thick tone getting lost in the band mix it sounds very V-shaped to me
i have a bad experience with the Sovtek Big Muff (it was my first fuzz, although it's not really a fuzz) - i got lost in rock trio...

so what can you, the fuzz experts and esúecially the AB-Synth owners say?

(my friend offered my building a Fuzz Factory clone, but i'd like to try AB-synth in future)

Nah you'll be alright with the Absynth man. I've got a Algal Bloom that pushes right through. Big Muffs pretty much always get lost in the mix, no matter what.

You can't lose the absynth, even if you wanted to. Mine will never leave. Actually need a small repair to mine, but don't know if I can live with it being gone for a week.

Thanks guys i hope i can get my hands on the AB-synth soon, but you know... i'm a student and i have a girlfriend... two things that work against purchasing a fuzz

+1, I have the AbSynth and it cuts trough the mix on an excellent way.

And yes, the difference between my old Sovtek Muff and my growing Fuzzhugger collection is night and day. That is, if the night was spent cold and alone under a dusty blanket in Russia while the day was spent ripping new holes in the universe with Rock Power. Then, some beer. That's a good day.
