Just re-discovered this company online...been looking at the Barracuda and PipeLine pedals The Pipeline seems like a less-extreme alternative to a Pareidolia kind of thing, and it has switchable tremolo (rather than dialing tremolo in using the depth knob on the Pareidolia) However, I noticed some clipping in one of the demos ...not sure if this was the recording, or just some natural clipping from the amp..I hope it wasn't the pedal.. If it was..then I'm Anybody have any info about these pedals, from personal, or atleast secondhand experience?
I've never tried the Barracuda, but all the clips I've heard of it are awesome. Howard Leese actually gave Toadworks the specs from his original flanger he built for Heart back in the 70's.
Never heard of the Pipeline till now, I'll go check it out
I had a Mr. Squishy compressor for a few months. I liked it, but had to sell it to get my bank account out of danger after I bought a cab. It was transparent and very subtle.
The guy I sold it to said that he liked the older model (mine) more because they were even more subtle than the recent models. Mine was a big box, now they are thin like a single Devi unit.
