Old plywood bass I've had since 97
I carved a new tailpiece and the fingerboard, the old ones were shitty black painted whitewood.

Tuners, neckplate, switch, knobs ordered.

So yeah these tuners didn't work hole layout is different and I don't want to plug and re-drill a 30 year old neck.
So I found a set of 1978 tuners and they are on the way.
