Does anyone here have experience with those old Fender acoustics?

Can you explain what you mean by 'old' fender acoustics?
I have a Fender acoustic, but it's probably only about 5 years old..

Strat headstocks look plain goofy on an acoustic.

Ah I see what you mean by 'old fender acoustics'
I may be in the minority on this..but I think those 'strat headstock acoustics' look kinda cool...I think they just started making them again this year, too.

Love the strat headstock on an acoustic. Saw Portugal. The Man play an acoustic set, and they had one... first time I'd seen one. Couldn't get over how much I liked it.

I'm not a rancid fan at all but the Time Armstrong hellcat is down right awesome, I couldn't get over how much I loved it. the tone and feel were quite nice, likely gonna get one at some point

I have a Fender acoustic with a strat head that I got around '95. I ultimately chose it, all other things being equal, because of the headstock. I still play it alot, if that says anything, and if it's old enough to count.

Those are super cheap, too. I've seen so many folk punk bands that use those.
My friend bought an all-metal Fender resonator, used it briefly, and just stopped, because it's "too bright" for his tastes. Go figure. He went back to his Epiphone wood-bodied reso.

I had one, but had to sell it, the sound was great, but it was't as comfortable to play. I tought I would look for other guitar for my next acoustic, but I'm considering it again after I heard other one sounding great last week. I may look for one of these strat headstocks.
