Hey there folks,
I have this drone collabo with an old friend we are really excited about. A couple of pieces are recorded now and more will follow. We thought of putting them out as a limited run CD-R. The only problem is that we both have neither the time nor the skills to master these recordings to get the most out of them. Is there anyone around here that knows how to do this and has the ear for this kind of music?
Anyone here knows how to master?

Yup, done so. He's badass, but unfortunately 200 Bucks is more than we are able to pay, since packaging, burning the CDs and all that are also expensive. At least now I remember why people usually have bigger bands.

I've mastered a full length CD and a gaggle of EPs. My own stuff and stuff for a few bands, and it was all stuff that I produced & recorded as well. What did you want to know?

Oh, right on. How many songs/how long is the disc? Are they pretty consistent, IE recorded basically in the same place, same way, same time, etc, or would there be a lot of forensic work to create song to song consistency?
