Good to hear it made it. Romance Explosion is great btw. I'm going to write you a glowing review on the forum in a few days. I checked out the Shiva samples last night, let me know when those are ready they are soundin' great.

Is Shiva any reference to the SP song "Siva?" I know Devi loves referencing the SPs with her fuzzes (Rocket, Silver Crank) but did anyone ever notice the more obscure reference to "White Spyder" off of Machina 2?

Hehe, not pumpkins, Wolverine Comics.

Eh, I'd say so to the casual Pumpkins fan. I mean, I was in high school when it came out and I was pretty big into them. Even then I wasn't aware of it's existence until two years later. I remember when I came across it thinking of it as more of a novelty than an serious release. Obviously, I was quite wrong.

I've always wanted a sucka punch, only for the sole reason that it'd be funny to yell during band practice when I turn it on.

"You just got SUCKA PUNCHED!!!!"

But anywho whats the pedal under the Sucka Punch/Hotcake?

Can't really afford the delay, don't think I need the phaser or ring mod, and i dont think i quite understand wtf the freqbox does yet. LPF worth it?

Not to hijack a wonderful thread, but what kind of patch cables do you all use? I'm thinking about getting some George L's or Lava cables to cut down on cluster, but those kits seem pretty damn expensive for 10 or so pedal connectors.

Hurrah for cheap patchie cables.

If ya'll want to get some kinda George L types, might as well head down to a guitar shop which customises your pedal board cable needs. They'll measure and cut accordingly to your specs. And will also put in cable signal loss in mind. So if you got a permanent pedalboard set up, might as well.

I use George L's they are a bit of a pain, but work well once you get the hand of it. And it really isn't that more expensive than the cheapies. If you shop around you can get the cable for less than $1/foot and the ends for less than $4 each. That's about the same price as Ernie Balls and less than Dimarzios.

An Ode to diwanna's DN so I'll post mine.

It's not much but it works good and is sufficient for practical usage. Also I've lost all my old gear as I stopped playing guitar for 9 years, picked it back up in 2004.

Besides the old tech ain't worth it. One Devi Ever pedal is worth ten of the old techs.

:D

So here's the set up.

Morley Wah, Digitech multiFX and DD-6 in the effects loop of the TBD.

TBD to the AEnima to the DN to the Pulsar, with enuff legroom for me to use my shoe sides to tweak the rate knob of the Pulsar effectively. :D
AEnima boosts the TBD, DN boosts the AEnima and TBD or one of it to monstrous effect. I can cum just by hearing the feedback from the amps.

:D

Check out how it sounds on the Stellarium band page on the track Paddle Pop.
