Yeah, I always forget how loud 2 watts, or whatever this puts out, is.

i recall playing through a Marshall Class 5 that was amazingly loud. seriously considered buying one.

none of my amps, functional or not, is over 30 watts other than the bass amp which IIRC puts out 200 watts at 4 ohms. the Princeton and AC15 are 15W, the Hammond is 18W, the Laney and Kalamazoo are each 30 watts, and the wee Electar is 10.

I felt it needed a tiny bit more zing, so I put a 1uf bypass cap on the first cathode resistor and it is a lot more lively at bedroom volume.
