We're going to see Motorpsycho with the band as an "advanced training course".

3/30 Michael Rother et al. NYC

I like living in Pittsburgh, but it does mean I never see shows like this. We are just too small for Rother to come here.

i drive from Charlottesville when i have to. we seldom get anything interesting here, so i usually have to go at least to DC. Cville is chock-full of Americana and jamband shit, which i would have loved 40 years ago but bores me to sleep now. i really don’t like traveling that much, but i need live music to make life more bearable.

So we're seeing Jelly Roll on Saturday, yay? I feel like this is my wife getting revenge for the time I dragged her along to see Wolf Eyes and Black Dice.

Jealous of these!

I go to a lot of gigs, and have quite a few lined up. Probably most excited about god's pee at the end of the month though. Going to see Witch Club Satan this Saturday, 'cos I can never get enough cheese hehe.

just added Bob Mould Band 5/7 at the Black Cat.

SOTB were very good. they’re hard to categorize…a bit of shoegaze, some 80s New Wave, a little math-rock (they played in 7 a couple of times), some 00s indie, some goth, etc. 4 different lead singers. check ‘em out.

Saw the Avengers a couple weeks ago in Boston and I am flying to SF in May to visit friends and see the Flamin' Groovies!

:thumb: Good plan. Motorpsycho are also stopping by in my town, and as every time they do that, I'll be there.
I'm hooked since Demon Box came out.

As a band, we're going see to Sunn O)), although we probably won't actually see them through the all the fog, but rather just hear and feel them.

Fuzzonaut junior wants to see Nine Inch Nails and Chat Pile, so yeah, we'll do that.

And with the lady, we'll see one of her favorite bands from back then: Los Fabulosos Cadillacs.

Another Mogwai concert might also happen.

added Stereolab 9/20 in Asheville and múm, who surprisingly are back after their visits during spring festival season here, on 9/17 at the Atlantis in DC. September is going to be busy.

Sorry, I hardly ever post here, but I saw maz's post and realized (a) I'm at the stage in my life where I'm making up for missed shows and (b) Bright Eyes would be top of the list.

In a similar vein, I AM going to finally see Cap'n Jazz in July at Warsaw, and sooooper excited to see Marc Ribot in a couple weeks at Roulette. When I saw Ceramic Dog last year, just seeing that telepathy between him and Shahzad was, like, otherworldly.
