My current plan is to set it up for "tails", so that when you bypass it, the verb continues to echo. :)

(that will switchable between buffer and true bypass).

that sounds pretty cool, man... so instead of just regular reverb decay, it'll repeat when turned off instead?

What happens normally when you bypass a true-bypass reverb pedal is that the reverb decay is abruptly chopped off.

What I'm talking about is setting it up so that when the pedal is bypassed, the dry signal is bypassed like it should be, but the wet signal (echoes, reverb, whatever) keeps going for however long it would have had you not bypassed. So you can hit a big chord with the reverb on, then bypass it, and your guitar signal will be bypassed, but the echo from that big chord will keep on decaying until it's through.

It's the same thing as the "tails" function on a delay. Without that, the repeats are canceled when you bypass.

Does that make sense?
