I got a line 6 helix.

It’s sick. I don’t care what anyone says, the sound quality
is real and I can just plug it into whatever. Also it makes me feel like I’m in depeche mode.

Sick. I wasn't thinking about replacing my POD HD with one of these a while ago. But then I forgot to.

Which iteration did you get?

If I’m being honest, my saltiness over never getting a KWB is about 90% of why I got it. There’s a KWB patch that has all the settings for the different transistors and everything. It sounds so good too.

I got the giant ass spaceship floor unit with the EXP pedal. It’s siiiick. There’s an entire RE-201 in there with all the heads and everything. It sounds really good and you can map the trail function to the EXP pedal and go WHOOOSH SQUANK SQUANK SQUANK

Hah the amp/cab/pedal models have great names! I guess for copyright reasons they have Soup Pro, MOO)))N T, Mandarin, Das Benzin, Deranged Master, Pebble Phaser, Elephant Man and many others :)
Kudos to Line 6 for making an expensive piece of gear but not refraining from humor.

I have the HX Stomp and love it! SO many cool effects inside and great tones.
I mostly use it for effetcs. Amps and such I still prefer to use my trusty AMT SS20 preamp pedal, but there are some cool sound indeed.

It's a killer pedal. But you know GSE is building them, right? They're small runs, I guess, but they are out there.
good deals are here.

i had to spend days with my PodXT tweaking parameters on the amp and cabinet sims to get acceptable models, and i really don't feel like doing that again.

The cool thing about Helix is that Line6 isa putting out new firmwares every few month!
Each time there are at least 2 new effect blocks available, beside fixes to bugs and fine tuning to the functionality.

I DO have an account... but I'm not really here. Last login was March of 2022.
Still at L6, which is technically Yamaha guitar group, which is also Ampeg, and kind of related to Cordoba and Guild. Still making gear, still playing noisy rock music, still getting old at the rate of normal time. Damn.

Cheers!
