I'm consolidating my vote for the BF as heaviest pedal ever. I'm stacking it with an FZ2 and it just makes already heavy shit sound monofuckinglithic.
Also rules on it's own.
Winner.

Thru the Randall Rb-212w and Peavey Standard it sounds so massive.....MASSIVE!!!!!! :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!: :!!!:

Had a Smash Box for years. Could never bond with it. I really tried but just couldn't. Recently traded it to johnnyC for an awesome point to point wired one knob fuzz. That one knober would have to be one of my heaviest pedals. Kinda like a meathead but more fuzzy. :excellent:

IM gonna have to post some clips, it's insane how well it works with that setup

Big Muff Pi.

I've got the MXR Full Bore Metal; which has 3band EQ, noise gate and the EHX Pocket Metal Muff, but when I hooked up my NYC Big Muff Pi, dialed a marshall model on my Valvetronix and pulled out the Ibanez Iceman with SD Blues/Distortion pickups and the tone was so obese it would have been right at home at a Overeaters Anonymous meeting. A tone so fat that when I was done playing a Dunkin Donuts opened up next to my house.

Maybe it's a boring answer but the Dunlop Octavia I got in December. I cannot believe how many years I went without this circuit, it is so crushing. When I stack it with my Crazy Horse it's like tongue-punching Kali's b-hole.

My goddamned compressor.

Distortion boxes are cool and all, but hearing every note in a funky-fresh F played against an E is epic heavy. like...why do people even buy blue boxes and persues and octave down fuzzes? Polyphony crushes.

seriously, though, my vote would be Devi Test Pattern. It isn't so much heavy as just a noisy shit. And I don't have a pharoah or musket or any kind of doombox yet.

My heaviest pedal is prob. The Great Destroyer. TGD -> second voice -> IE Oxciide is by far the heaviest combination I have ever used and I can completely change the character by rolling down the volume a bit.

My second voice on the octave down+fifth down setting into my Malekko Diabolik. Dark, throaty oscillatey madness. Just can't go below the 7th fret or so on my bass before it goes to glitch town. Which can be heavy as fuck in its own way.

See on mine I set to +1 oct. +5th and than turn up the sub just a tad and runn it into the Oxcide set to brassmasterish settings.
Great minds think alike!

I saw some people saying that they ran their second voice after a fuzz, but when I tried it, it tracked like shit and was nothing special.

Am I missing something? Is there a trick?

Also my second Voice goes back and forth randomly between a synthy smoothish tone and a growly oscillation tone. Is this normal? I like the unpredictable glitchiness factor, but it would be nice to be able to control it. I have the newest version. Standard, not dlx.

Nothing I've played has topped my Mountainking Megalith clone yet.

But the Electrofoods Nepenthes and Dirty Haggard Torsion look brutal. Are there other more recent super heavy fuzzes like these I should check out?

You should try the Dirge Slowly Melting - not heavy but raunchy as fuck and can be heavy

Also to consider is the Magic Pedals - Magic Fuzz - I was lovelying given the Bongzilla variant for my SS gift in 21 and that fucker is heavier than a bag of bricks.

Two of the heaviest pedals I've owned had the same name but were very different animals: the Guyatone TZ-2 "The Fuzz" and the Carl Martin "The Fuzz." I don't think I ever used them at the same time, which is probably good as it might have ripped a hole in the space-fuzz continuum
