Jero, you're awesome, thank you! :!!!:

Not only does it look like lavender, I think it smells like lavender too.

I can't remember what the controls do. (refresh my memory, please.)

Obviously, the left knob is volume. :snax:

Favorite setting so far:
  • volume at 10:00
  • both other knobs fully CW
  • left switch: down
  • right switch: up

I think it's a totally different experience playing this with humbuckers rather than the single coils I'm more used to. Sounds really nice. Just more saturated than I remember it. It's definitely a little smoother now.

I just picked up an October Audio Junk Lantern (Green Ringer-ish) and threw it in front of the Willowisp. :D Sounds great like that too. Always important.

Glad it made it safely!

Knobs (l to r): Volume/Filter/Gain
Toggles: 3-positiion Clipping (Up-sili, Mid-off, Down-led) & "Gate" (Up-on)
(The Gate doesn't really work the same in the off/mid clipping position)
(The 'Wisps start out nasty from the get go, and the Gain is more for fine tuning than drastic alteration, unless in certain gate settings)

These lofi buggers are slowly in the works. Likely do some fine tuning, once a bit more feedback roles in from the beta units.

Thanks, Jero, got it! :thumb:

Up is silicon, middle is diodes out, down is LED.

Up is gate on.

Was just getting some rockin'/straight ahead fuzz sounds with the filter and gain both at noon.

With the gate on and my bridge pickup, I was gettin' some groovy faux-sitar sounds. :trippy:

Honestly, I wouldn't change too much with the circuit. :idk: Gate can sometimes be kinda subtle at certain settings.

Overall, love it!

Thanks you! The final look/layout may vary but for now...
Alec was kind enough to post a very brief clip earlier (I shared it to stories. Need to start recording and posting shit here again. Sorry about that.)

and yes, the 'Wisp can do straight forward fuzz tones in the middle, through biting vintage fuzz nasties on the left, and beefy thicker sounds on the right! Lot's of hidden in between settings with other controls, once you play with guitar volume/technique as well.

this very much! i have been messing with it for a few weeks now and i think the different combinations of gate + clipping are really what makes the beast that Willowisp is! it mutates it from muff to those low gain fuzz overtones at the flip of a switch!

I swear i am gonna post a more complete review..

Yeah, the knobs bring out lots of shades of fuzz as well.

I've still been playing with the switches set to LED clipping and the gate off, but've been diggin' the Filter at about 9:00 and the Gain at a little past 3:00.

I took me way more than I expected and the result is way worse than I wanted, but here's a demo for this beast:

Thanks everybody! Dowi has a way of knowing just what to do with my builds, haha.

I finally put these on the site, and currently have them available in a built to order fashion. In addition, I’m hoping to have a small batch of them done before October.

For the time being, these will remain with the same hand finish. They may receive a facelift towards the end of the year if I can get the art sorted.
