any True Bypass Loop Switching System?

Post by erik »

are there other products similar to this one by Carl Martin?
http://tonefactor.com/proddetail.php?pr ... ch&cat=153

I really like the idea of using DIP switches to preset multiple sends/returns
most of the switchers i see out there are 1 to 1 (1 knob to 1 send/return)
but i think this one is a bit pricey.

Voodoo Labs makes one too. I don't think it's cheap, but it looks cool.
Isn't there a nutty Line 6 one too ... ? Seem to remember reading about one ages ago that looked like

You ever see the old clip of Jeff Beck on some British TV program explaining his equipment and the interviewer refers to the "staggering array of switches and dials" on the floor ... talking about a Crybaby and a Power Boost  Simpler times.

EDIT: found it

EDIT2: Here;s the Voodoo Lab one: http://www.voodoolab.com/commander.htm

i like the part Jeff talks about feedbacking the pickups.

and the part that Mr. Jeff Beck fiddling the volume knob was rather funny, reminds me young bands doing soundcheck.

oh, yea the Voodoo Lab Commander™ got a quite reasonable price.
i will read more on that

Wow, that Jeff Beck interview covered some pretty basic tuff, but it did it so patiently! When was the last time you saw a television show that seemed so sane and natural?

You'll notice it was a British TV show...
Mind you, last time I was there, TV was all breathless reality shows too, mostly about people selling their house :picard:

that, my friend, is british day-time television. When you are watching daytime television on a regular occasion, know what times channel 4 show friends and when the repeats are on later. You know you have hit rock bottom.
