Pigtronix - Echolution and a touch of Mothership

Post by Kayzer »

Pigronix really did an insane job with this pedal. Its ultra easy to tweak and choose tons of sounds without getting deep into manuals or a long learning curve... Various Rhythmic Delays, Trails, Tap Tempo, Modulations (Chorus/Trem), Reverse, Looping action and an cut off knob to alter the repeats into bright or dark ones... The Modulations (Tremolo and Chorus) are not cheesy as on many digital delays and sound pretty, shiny and analog! The reverse delays are a little let down since they have a slight clicking sound when the chip is overwriting the data... Havent gooved around with the looper function so far...

Enjoy the clips!!!!

WOW Looping with this thing is a blast! Since reverse and Looping is controllable with an external Boss footswitch i would need some advice for an alternative since this boss monstrosity looks ugly as hell, yeah i am a pedal snob ;-P

No ideas for a better footswitch than the Boss FS-6

Sorry, Dennis, I have no idea what footswitch you should get.

This thing has interested me, but only faintly. I don't know why I was put off by it... maybe because the Super Delay had more options. How are the two compared against each other?

I love the way Pigtronix pedals look. They're frickin' sweet!

I know there're dudes here that could just MAKE one. Pretty simple, IIRC.

 So, this thing's got a jack for "remote switching." When it's not a stereo cable, the switch works for the Loop toggle, which makes your delays infinite. SOOOO, if you plug in a MOMENTARY-ON switch..infinite delay switch a la El Cap? WAPOW!
