Hello guys, presently very interested in the spacefilling possibilities of reverse delay. The obvious response would be to lay out for a Danelectro Backtalk or that new Mojohand unit. Being me, I checked out cheaper options. Amaz*n presently lists this one:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/Amuzik-Guitar- ... r=1-1&th=1
...but, as is often the case with Chinese imports, the 297 positive reviews turn out to be across the manufacturer's range. Can't tell if anyone actually rates the 3-mode echo box. I don't suppose any ILFers... ?

Cheap reverse delay?

Behold the Zoom MS70CDR
https://zoomcorp.com/en/us/multi-effect ... /ms-70cdr/
Its by far my favorite modulation pedal, for the price and what it offers it stands pretty tall with other delays that are super expensive.
If you looking for cheap and good - its hard not to recommend anything else but this.

All hail the multi-stomp.
Unless you need stereo in, the reverse reverb is available on any of the pedals from that series.

Re: Cheap reverse delay?
Thanks guys. For some reason I can never remember the Zoom when I'm trying to put a board together, but I agree it would be ideal in my context if the reverse delay algorithm is any good. I could add other modulation as required and get some more variety. But I need a solid reverse delay to start with. So, how is that Zoom algorithm, esp. in comparison with the Mojohand Octaverse, which I'm taking as new gold standard? Best, NP

Re: Cheap reverse delay?
i like it - pretty straightforward - it's not strapped to a full wet mode like some (the hendriz thing), but it blends nicely behind your signal to create pads
sound quality is quite decent, maybe not up with the latest and greatest, but more than good enough for most live use where the differences are lost in...space
this demo [swim] shows it off a bit, but i'm assuming you'd want to turn the feedback up more for your use case on your op
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhI3DMGf-dE
delay time runs out to 2 seconds, which is nice for flexibility
and as others have pointed out, you can chain it with other fx to enhance the spacefillaciousness of it

Thanks guys and sorry for weird multiple postings earlier -- I'm in a rural area and poor bandwidth is making even basic operations difficult. NP
