^^those knobs are hawt, but right now i need those but with a smaller diameter - rummage time!
as for this- here's the plan - easter breakfast @ cracker barrel after the dawn performance @ christ-r-us, then it's home for a splapbass apocalypse @ the easter parade - who's w/ me?
what is it with the pricing on MKIs? rhetorical question - i know what's up with that but still, :/ :/ :/
i stopped in @ a guitar center with bad intent in whitehall pa on friday on my way back from syracuse - what a depressing experience - seriously doubt i'll be going into another GC anytime soon - all the used stuff was both paltry in selection and either malarial or way overpriced or both, and the new stuff they had was so blah. i suppose it was really that way all along, but in the past i felt like i might find a bargain under a rock...and many times did.
anyway - they had a blue colander jawn - they were calling it a VFG because that is written on the pedlol, but apparently it's an FFAS or someought -- some kind high gain fuzzface i gather. anyway - they'd priced it $50 over the reverb sale that came up at the top of a google search so my minimal interest died quickly - tho mebbe these were cheaper when they first came out and they're just riding the corksniffer wave like so many in the biz nowadaze....

"Merlot is the king behind the king (if you still consider cabernet sauvignon the reigning king). It is the Queen’s Gambit, the tick before the tock, and in the right hands it is a chameleon: ”Is this a fine cabernet?” it will have you saying. “No!” someone will shout from the rafters. “It’s merlot, you crazy fool!”"
