Found some pics of the Sakura guts. I doodled a schemo last night, and breadboarded it today with a GT404. It's a full range NPN germanium boost. Haven't tested it with a big amp or other pedals yet, but it shows potential.

Naw. It was just a stoopid price to begin with, for what it is. I've bought Ludwig Phase II's for less than that.
