Most prescient pedal names

Post by niftyprose »

Offshoot of the more famous 'worst pedal names' thread (viewtopic.php?f=149&t=63297)

Here in the UK we've this afternoon received news that a third case of the B1.1.529 COVID variant has reached these shores. I thought the WHO designation sounded familiar: the name they've assigned, Omicron, was chosen by Malekko nearly a decade ago for some rather tasty mini-format mostly analog pedals, including a particular well-liked vibrato: https://malekkoheavyindustry.com/product/vibrato-2/

Don't want to make light of a pandemic but there has to be an angle here. Just sayin'...

The one with Britney graphics? Best pedal is best.

The name makes it the most appropriate pedal to purchase in 2020/21.
