I put some thinking into what clean boosts might work and I concluded a super hardon (clone) might be a safe bet. It has pretty high input impedance so it will absolutely brighten things up
I did for awhile, and it works pretty well except that now I have nothing to step on to give me “one more,” you know? It was my “extra” and when it’s always on, I have no more extra.

I agree with the folks who suggested rebuilding one pedal at a time, getting an idea of what is sucking tone. Or put them in loopers. A nice buffer at the start might help too. Not sure the Boss Tuner qualifies but I don't have one so don't know.

Especially in the Waza Craft version. At least that is an improvement of the TU-3w. (But I didn't like the accuracy. I stick with my analogue KORG GT-12.)

Thanks, everyone, for all the input so far! I've yet to find the time to sit down and try any of it, but I am going to as soon as I can, and will report back.
