I bought a two knob of version of the Soundwave Breakdown a few years ago but it's spent quite a bit of the intervening period in a drawer!
I put it on my board recently and have enjoyed the glitchy oscillations and unusual gated sounds it can produce. The lack of a volume knob is a bit irritating though as there's often a massive volume increase. Are there lots of newer, more exciting pedals out there now that have a similar (or greater) range? Or should I think about getting a three knob version?

That pedal is bad about loading other pedals. Couldn’t find a good place to put it in a chain, even the three knob version. I liked it by itself but couldn’t keep it. I’d like to know if other pedals that can do that sound.

Yeah, I’ve put a Moog Drive after it to tame the volume but it’s not an ideal solution.harpies wrote:That pedal is bad about loading other pedals.
