At the very least, I'd suggesting sticking to their standard lineup. Though, with all of the problems they've had delivering custom work, they might not even offer it anymore. (unless you are Buzzo, Denison, Albini, Turner, etc)

I ordered an Aluminati neck with the January stimulus for my T-60 - they had an issue with a new anodizing company not meeting their standards so there's been a delay but they seem to be a good company. I wouldn't have even noticed the delay if they hadn't sent me an e-mail explaining it.

I've had a few EGC's, a few bolt-on's, a Developing Nations, probably something else I've forgotten but who knows.
I now own a low end Epiphone and am craving a Telecaster. :idk:

Aluminium necks are, for the most part, not worth it imo. They look cool but honestly that's about it. In the end, the tonal difference is not a very appealing one for me, people talk a lot about the sustain but don't often mention the coldness. The stupid thin necks are not for me, get serious hand cramp playing barre chords on a lot of those razor thin necks and going back to wooden guitars felt a lot like coming home, the warmth on offer is hard to beat, not getting uncomfortable while playing is fantastic. Meh.

If they look cool enough for you, go for it, but like everyone said, don't go anywhere near new EGC. They were complete and utter dickheads to me both times I dealt with them.

Still waiting on Aluminati - in March it was ready except for tuners... in early June they were still waiting on tuners, supposedly.

They use Sperzel right? I'd just have them ship the neck and you can order tuners from one of the many places that have them in stock.
