I've spent the last five years making this album and have done it about as well as I could. I received the help of a whole ton of collaborators and I'm very proud of what they've done. I went out and had it mastered professionally too for a change (Doug Henderson, the guy who's done all the Swans stuff). Recently we had a really interesting thread here about how to promote music in this day and age, which I read religiously and have taken the advice of for a bunch of stuff.
That thread was quite a good reminder of how much I like this place, despite not posting much these days (the usual depression, apathy and reclusiveness) I owe a lot to ILF. I think all of the pedals I used for the album were ones I got here, some of the friends I've bombarded with tracks for feedback over the years have been here, our friend Ibarakishi even does a bunch of stuff on the album. ILF is my friend and I don't mind admitting that I care about your opinion more than a general public one, and would really value some feedback from you.
I have reluctantly (and begrudgingly) uploaded stuff to Spotify if you hate artists and love convenience, but always favour bandcamp for those who hate aggressive consumer capitalism and love high quality audio files and inconvenience.
FFO: Swans, Matt Elliott, Have A Nice Life, not having a good time in general.
I've put a first single up last week, more will be added until the final release date of May 14th. I'm trying to release this album properly as mentioned, so I'm not allowed to just drop it and not tell anyone then wonder why I'm not signed

Your friend, ILF user Olin.
