Penny Lowfuzz Pics

Post by pothole »

Well, I traded away my awesome original Fingerprint 2 button......LOVED LB's paintjob on that thing, but I got a trade offer I couldn't refuse (bjfe ppf)..so it's gone. BUT! I did score a roll-bar equipped LowFuzz a couple days ago! Should be fun getting all saggy and shzit. Has anyone had/have one of these things?

Update..got it today...this thing is pretty cool. Takes a bit to figure out the controls..but that sag control is powerful. The bass control is pretty sweet too..adds just the right amount of bass..not a bad sound on that knob. Cool pedal. :joy:

yeah, I probably got ripped on that deal, but I really wanted the PPF. oh well.

I'll totally report on the LowFuzz..maybe we'll need to make a SlowFlake diy or something if it's good enough?

Errr I haven't checked what crazy prices the FP goes for lately but I'm pretty sure you got the better end of the deal  I've seen ppf's go for $500-600
Especially with the snowflake kits and the snowdrift come out some time this century.

I'm really curious about that. After all the FP hype and making that come together, I forgot that the Low Fuzz is the one I cared for more outta the two, however, both are good.

What's a PPF?

I would say there should be about the same amount of lowfuzzes, they were pretty cheap! There is a few custom jobs floating around that are pretty sweet too. They must've been pretty awesome because I haven't seen more than couple up for sale.

hah same
though the actual circuit doesn't seem that complicated, something like a single germ tranny with a voltage sag and LPF control (not that I'm an electrical engineer or anything), so I'm sure whipping up a workalike would be pretty easy
