This take was so bad that I spent an hour listening to Frazz V2 demos and now I really want one so thanks, Woolworm!

As for teh Waza, it will probably be released on Halloween, or whatever the UK equivalent/Wicker Man Solstice or whatever falls upon.

But we'll always have the plastic pink clones, though (still about $45, depending on your riff whiffing abilities (but probably more in Canada - I don't make the rules!)).

Personally as much as I love the HM-2 (and like, I do a lot) I don’t need an updated version.
Waza isn't about special features, its literally the OOP pedal re-released.
Don’t all of them have some “extra” switch? I don’t buy “new” Boss pedals so I can’t be sure but I’m kind of sure.

I also do not care about anything -w that Boss has put out in the past few years, but would like to join in speaking out against this Frazz-bashing.
This is a very impressive collection of Roto Toms. That's 21 Roto Toms in all. That is only $33.00 a Roto Tom.

NEWS FROM TODAYS BOSS TALK WITH YOSHI IKEGAMI:
- the custom made switch is at the back, just confirmed by the man himself!
- 6dB noise reduction
- custom mode: edgier, nastier, more gain.
- no additional features like clean blend, because the wanted to maintain the original look.
- prototype units are already sent to key-demo-guys
- availability in "summer"
- pricing under 200 USD
-not a limited edition run

Dunno know for me and my needs I'm already very happy with my Earthbound Throat Locusts. :idk:

Nah. I asked Ryan and he said it was a klon but instead of the dual gang gain pot it’s a single pot and the second gain stage is swapped out for the dod grunge, but with a fixed eq.

All this science is fascinating.

I totally want to care about this, but I don't. It won't be better than the Throat Locust I ordered (I hope)

Locust much gooder imo.

I’m just happy to see the world get more hm-2’s! :!!!:
Fully agree with you!
I did got also the Fuzzlord HM6 a while ago, which has also separated mid and high controls (tuned the mid a bit lower than usual and the high a bit higher, but Fuzzlord didn't tell around which frequencies these are centered... 700Hz and 2Khz!?!? who knows...)... but after few weeks I decided to sell it, and keep only the Throut Locust. The Parametric mid control is a winner! TL sounds more focused and it's huge in the bass/subbass frequencies spectrum. :!!!:

Well in the end if I was supposed to get an Original HM2 now, I would wait and go with the waza. You get a new product, with besser components and lover noise floor, plus the added custom, and the price will be anyhow cheaper than a vintage unit :animal:

Target for the next Waza Craft from Boss is Stanley Tucci.

They are going to add a switch so that the Waza-Tucci adds The Wah Watusi.
