Delay Woes... (probably solved)

Post by ProCarsteNation »

So while I still love my EHX DMB to bits
and do not wanna do without an FX loop

it seems my tastes are currently for brighter, cleaner, I guess digital repeats

no problem, I thought
I still have the Nemesis which can have an FXloop and is digital
but the damn thing won't recall my EXP configurations
I can set evrything up in the Neuro desktop
but beats me if these settings only hold on fridays or before 2300h

this might be user error though.

you could be of help here two ways:

:)* share your Nemesis/Neuro knowledge, so I can get that beautiful box to work correctly

:)* suggest another delay that does what I want. always.

Nemesis was one of the first delays I truly gassed for when I started back up. So many great sounds in one box.

I do like the sounds of the box
fx loop
tap tempo
hold

what's not to love?

I'm fairly sure it is not user error (anymore)
that my settings made in the Neuro Desktop
seem to disappear from time to time
and revert back to default

any idea what is causing that?
doeas it have a battery I need to change or something...

Have you reached out to source audio? I remember them replying to my inquiries quite fast.

Not yet.
I downloaded the manual though
and will try a couple more times to make sure it is not something I'm overlooking
like the first time I tried
and did not know that in addition to setting "EXP Pedal" as input and "Mapped to knobs" as destination
you also had to activate a button "enable external control"

So in the mean time I thought I'd ask here if someone can just throw the answer into my lap
or open a rabbit hole of digital tap tempo delays with fx loop for me
