after years of lusting after mandocelli, i've actually reached the point where i think the octave mandolin (or bouzouki) is a better sweet spot for deeper-tinged naturally chorused strings and i'm not sure the bigger box of the L7 would change what i'm hearing in that regard for the better -- but i'd be willing to be persuaded...somebody buy it and make a demo

but great googly moogly that doesn't take away from that gorgeous 'burst!
