It’s louder, more low end, the extra broken artifacts on the further end of the sweep are no longer there ( ;) chank), new 3rd position on the mode toggle, additional filtering & polarity protection, awesome pcbs...I can send you one with your loaners very soon if you’d like to fuzz with it :poke: :thumb:

There’s a new demo going up any day now

sounds great! :joy:
definitely recognize a lot of these tones, but, whether because of differences in the circuit, the gear used, the player or the settings, much of this also sounds different - the mark of a great fuzz, imo...the Virus is no one trick pony.

Really enjoying the way it gets right on the edge of foldback throughout, but doesn't descend into synthy lasercats and maintains the heavvvy. :snax:

There's a faux etch/raw Virus ready to ship. Has all the updates minus the extra middle mode on the toggle...$135 shipped.

Aside from gear variance, these also have some updates/tweaks that differ from yours ;) Was actually looking at the pics of yours today

I love mine a lot! It sound more like an amp that has been destroyed... tube hiss etc... I wonder how the new version would sound in my setup.
