Octave Down Pedals?

The POG variants are a little pricey for my taste, but I can't seem to find something that...does what I want it to.

So yeah, is there anything else out there that does dry signal and octave down at once?

Sorry, probably should've thought that through a bit more. I need it to be able to track chords and such, more than 2 notes at least. I'll be playing guitar through it, and budget is...midprice? I'm not on a particularly tight budget at least.

The key word then is polyphonic. Boss makes two [or made] and the Digitech wammy come to mind.

It's a ok pedal, I have one but I don't really remember how it sounds on guitar. It is kind of harsh sounding which has it's pluses and minuses.

I've got a Boss OC3. It does a pretty good job of tracking with guitars, in the polyphonic setting but it's not perfect (but what octave pedal is?). It's better with a baritone guitar, especially if you use the neck pup.

The TAFM is not the guhuuughg. It doesn't do octaves as far as I know but I don't own one so don't take my word for it.

Yeah, that makes sense. I used it for a similar purpose a couple of times and I will soon be trying to use it with a baritone guitar to try to negate the need for a bass player altogether. It will definitely do the trick if all you want is to fatten up your sound with some added low end. But the more notes you try to add, the more likely it will be to get all screwy. Also, the octave down is less prominent in the poly setting than it is in either the 1 down or 2 down settings, fyi.
